Equipped with anti-lift blocks, you have the option of having hinge bolts fitted, which lock the frames together when the doors are closed.
In terms of the mechanism of bifold doors, there are those with a swinging leaf where the the lever handle throws a pair of opposing hook bolts into the outer frame, this then deadlocks the latch. For the sliding doors, locking is performed by a centralised flat handle which throws two opposing 10mm sturdy steel locking bolts into the outer frame of the
bi-fold door.
